CE Smith Trailer Fenders - No Step - CE18041ATB Review

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this aluminum Jeep-style trailer fender for the 13 inch to 15 inch diameter wheels. This is for a quantity of one fender. Now this fender is designed to cover one tire on your single-axle trailer. It is designed to install above the tire and it'll act as a splash guard to help keep any road debris from hitting other vehicles and also to help protect your trailer's cargo. Again, the application, this is for single-axle trailers that use 13 inch to 15 inch diameter wheels.

And this is a nice classic Jeep design, so it gives your trailer a unique look. The fender does have one-inch radius lips on both sides on the front and the back, and that provides a universal mounting, so you can mount this to either side of your trailer. It is a nice rust-proof, corrosion-resistant, 14 gauge aluminum construction, so it is great for saltwater use. It is very lightweight, but still strong and durable. And if you notice it has the diamond tread pattern on it, which provides a nice rugged look to the fender.

It is a bolt-on installation. It does use mounting brackets, which we do sell separate on our website, and those mounting brackets are listed on this product page as a related product. Also, when you do install this, as a general rule, when your trailer is loaded to its full capacity, there should be a minimum clearance of about three inches between the top of your tire and the underside of this fender. This is made in the USA. It is for a quantity of one fender.

The weight of it is just under six pounds, about 5.8 pounds. And the last thing I want to do is just give you the dimensions on this. I'm gonna give you the length, which is measured from outside to outside all the way across at the widest point. So if we do that, let's see if I put a ruler on that, and if we go, put it on the end there, all the way to the other end, is gonna be 36 inches long. The height on it, very bottom to the very top is 19 1/4 inches tall.

And the width on it, if we measure this way, is right at 10 inches wide. But that should do it for the review on this aluminum Jeep-style trailer fender for 13 inch to 15 inch diameter wheels for a quantity of one..
