Today we're reviewing part number CAM40480 from Camco. This is an RV or trailer roof vent. It has a manually operated crank for opening and closing, and it has a tightly fitted screen that will let air out, let air in, and keep insects out. It has a single-unit frame. It is one piece, so it's leak resistant and it's weather tight. The dome itself is made of UV stabilized polypropylene plastic. It's durable and holds up to the sun. It should not discolor or crack in harsh sunlight, and I don't know if you can see it, but if you can see my hand moving back here this does let in some light when it's closed. This fits roofs with an opening 14-1/4 inches by 14-1/4 inches, and the roof should be 1-1/4 inch to 2-1/4 inches thick. The unit itself is 14 x 14 and it does come with a 1-year limited warranty.
