Counteract Tire Balancing Beads - CA64FR Review

Hello everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Counteract single eight ounce bag of tire balancing beads. Now these Counteract Balancing Beads are the economical way to balance your tire and wheel summary for the lifetime of your tire. These beads are designed to be installed inside your tire. Did wanna zoom in and show you up close. Basically when you receive this bag, what you'll do is tear off the top, which I've already done, and then dump out the insights.

And basically what you'll get on the inside, is you'll get this eight ounce bag of balancing beads. You'll get this vortex valve core, and you'll get this two choices of self-sealing valve caps, either this self-sealing cap or this double seal flow through cap. Now these beads are made of coated glass spheres. The balancing beads will not cause damage to the inner-liner of your tire. They won't clump regardless of excess moisture, and they are TPMS compatible.

They are environmentally friendly construction, they are reusable, recyclable. And how these Counteract beads work, just want to show you, if you look at that little insert there it shows you when they're installed in the tire as you go along as it's moving. Basically what happens is when your tire begins to roll this bag of break on the inside of the tire and the beads will get distributed around the interior of the tire, thanks to centrifugal force. And as that wheel continues to spin, the heavy spot in your unbalanced tire will pull up a down on the vehicle suspension, and this will cause those beads to shift in the opposite direction of the pull. And the beads will continue to migrate until there is enough of them on the opposite side of the heavy spot, to balance out your tire.

Now these tire balancing beads continuously and automatically readjust the balance of your trailer, truck or off-road tire. They do reduce the vibration and ensure even where to increase the life of the tire. They'll even improve fuel economy, and they are an easy installation, you just put this bag into the inside of the tire when it's removed from the wheel, or you could inject the beads into the valve stem. These beads will remain inside the tire, they won't come loose to contaminate the environment and they won't cause any damage to your wheels. One note I do want to mention, is if your tire has internal TPMS sensors, you will need to break down the tag and install these beads.

Application for this eight ounce bag is 14 and a half inch to 17 and a half inch trailer tires, 15 inch to 22 and a half inch truck tires and 15 inch to 16 and a half inch off-road tires. Now to order the correct amount of beads needed for your application, you'll get the size of the tire from the sidewall on the trailer of the vehicle, and then match it to the tire size listed on the product page for that size of bag of beads. So on this one it's an eight ounce bag, and on the product page it'll list all the tire sizes it works on. They do make many different size of beads, they do all the way from about a four ounce all the way up to about a 20 ounce bag. Now in order to reduce the possibility of valve leaks, the use of this Counteract valve core, and either one of those metal caps is recommended in place of the original valve core and cap, and these are included in every bag of the beads. And as we mentioned the beads are TPMS compatible, they are made in the USA, and this is for quantity of one bag of beads for one tire.
