Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Custom Wiring Adaptor for Trailer Brake Controllers with the Dual Plug-In number C51352. This wiring adaptor fits the Cadillac Escalade, the Hummer H2, the GMC Sierra, GMC Yukon and the following vehicles in the Chevrolet family: the Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe. This plug-in wiring adaptor allows for quick and simple installation of your electric trailer brake controller. Thanks to the ends here no cutting or splicing is required. The custom connector, which is this one right here, plugs into the electric junction box beneath the dash of your vehicle and the other end right here plugs into the back of your electric brake controller. It's compatible with time-delayed and proportional brake controllers from Curt.

As a heads up, the brake controller must have the built-in plug for the adaptor to connect. It will not work on controllers with pigtail wiring harnesses. It is two-feet long. It has 12-gauge wiring and is protected with this covering to help prevent damage. This item also has a limited one-year warranty.

Will this system transfer into newer model GM like 05 to 2011Silvrado

The Curt Custom Wiring adapter will work on the Chevy Silverados from 2003-2007. From 2007 to 2011 the trucks came with the prep option of blunt cut wires. So those years the # C51515 wiring adapter is required. This adapter will hard wire to the blunt cut wires on the truck and connect to the brake controller with the quick connect end.
