Review of Curt Accessories and Parts C59496

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the Curt Upgraded Four-Way Flat Circuit-Protected Powered Light Tail Converter, with the hard wire kit and the circuit tester. Now this part will adapt separate turn and stop lights, which is a three-wire system, to a combined two-wire system on the trailer. It is designed to work with many domestic and import vehicles. What I would recommend is to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year model vehicle, and it will show if this will work for your application. This will virtually eliminate draw on your vehicle tail-light circuit. It is a potted enclosure, which will resist water and vibration, protects against over-voltage, ESD, and short-circuits, and there's no heavy-duty flasher required. It is powered by the vehicle's battery.

It's circuit protected, does use surface-mount technology, and that's a method for constructing your electrical circuits, where components are mounted onto the surface of the printed circuit boards. This kit will work with vehicles that have LED tail lights and will work with trailers that have LED tail lights. It includes everything shown here on the table, a four-way powered tail light converter kit with all the installation hardware, nice set of detailed instructions on how to install everything. This section here is the powered converter wiring kit. This is the hard wire kit. This will provide the extra wire needed and the fuse holder, to be run to your vehicle's battery to power the lights on the trailer.

And it also comes with the circuit tester to test all the circuits on your installation.A few specs on this, the amperage is three amps per brake and turn circuit, and six amps for the tail light function circuit. But that should do it for the review on the Curt Upgraded Four-Way Flat Circuit-Protected Powered Tail Light Converter with the hard wire kit and the circuit tester.
