Review of Curt Ball Mounts C45552

Today we'll be reviewing Part Number C45552. This is the curt Class 2 Euro Style Draw Bar with a 2 inch hitch ball. It's going to provide a rise of 3/4 of an inch rated at 3,500 pounds. The European style ball mount features a permanently attached hitch ball. It's made from a sturdy steel construction providing a nice solid shank here on the back of our mount. It does have a corrosion resistant design with a chrome plated ball and a durable carbide black powder coat finish on the ball mount. It also goes through a high quality manufacturing process.

It's CNC machined for strong consistent cuts and welds, and it goes through a 7 stage washing method that's going to ensure a smooth, clean surface. Please keep in mind that the draw bar can only be used in the rise position. A hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock is required and sold separately. You can refer to the ball mount products page under related items to view those products or you can go to our website and type in Part Number PC2 and be referred to this 1/2 inch pin and clip. This ball mount is designed to work with an inch and a 1/4 by inch and a 1/4 trailer hitch receiver. The way it works is you would take your ball mount, slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes, and insert your pin and clip.

This ball mount is going to provide a gross towing weight of 3,500 pounds with a maximum towing weight of 350 pounds. Again the hitch ball size is a 2 inch ball. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball is going to measure 9-3/4 inches. This ball mount provides a rise of 3/4 inches. That's measured from the inside top edge of the receiver tube to the start of the vertical curve. That's going to complete today's review of Part Number C45552.

That's the Curt Class 2 Euro Style Draw Bar rated at 3,500 pounds. .
