Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt 1 7/8 inch hitch ball. This hitch ball provides a connection point for your trailer's coupler, it's made from a steel construction with a durable corrosion resistant nickel chrome finish. It's got a feature of fine threads that provide tight strong grip. It's also comes with your split lock washer and the mounting nut. I want to point out on the sides of the base right here, the platform has got to have the flats. These are wrench flats which allow for a much easier installation when you are getting everything tightened down, and torqued to the specifications listed from the manufacture.
Again the ball diameter is 1 7/8 of an inch, it's going to have a weight capacity of 3500 pounds. The diameter of the shank, it's a 1 inch diameter shank.
