Review of Derale Transmission Coolers D51606

Today, we're going to take a look at the Derale 16-row, high-performance, stacked-plate cooler with the minus six A and N fittings. This cooler will prolong life of your engine or your transmission because it will work as either an engine oil or a transmission cooler. Improves overall performance. Prevents any heat related failures. It will facilitate heat transfer between high-pressure fluids with its furnace-brazed aluminum construction. You can see it is designed with 16 rows with two inch wide turbulator plates for increased capacity and more efficient cooling.

Comes with the built in mounting brackets here on the end for easy installation. It does include these two aluminum anodized finished minus six A and N and male adaptor fittings. The specs on this, the inlets right up on the top are a minus 10 A and N O-ring, female, that's where these will screw into, and then on the fittings right here, they are the minus six A and N and male adaptor. Overall dimension on this, including the mounting brackets, if we put a ruler on it, edge to edge is right at 13 inches. Overall height, bottom to the very top is six and seven sixteenth inches and the depth is right at two inches deep. The distance between the inlets at the top here, center to center, is right at ten inches and the mounting dimensions, if we go from the mounting hole center to this mounting hole center, is going to be right at 12 and a quarter inches, by four and seven eighths inches.
