Dexter Axle Trailer Leaf Spring Suspension - Springs - DX93QR Review

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Dexter 26 3/4 inch long four-leaf slipper spring with the hook end for a 2,500 pound trailer axle. Now, this slipper leaf spring will act as part of your trailer's suspension system by providing an attachment point for your 2,500 pound axle. This spring will flex to resist shock. Also, ensures a nice, smooth ride.

And it does include the bushing right here in the spring eye. Does use multiple leaves to allow flexibility to absorb road shock, allows for a nice smooth ride and to reduce wear and tear on your trailer. It also ensures level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. It is a sturdy steel construction. Now, it does use pre-mounted hangers or aftermarket hanger kits required for installation.

Those items, we do sell separately on our website. Basically, the eye of the spring right here is what'll attach to the hanger that's mounted on your trailer frame, and the slipper hook end right here will slide into a hanger or an equalizer. This part is made in the USA. Few specs, again, for this, the axle capacity is 2,500 pounds. The number of leaves is four.

Now, the length, which is gonna be from the center of the spring eye to the end of the spring, if we put a tape measure on that, we know center to the very end is gonna be right at 26 3/4 inches. The measurement for the axle location right here is the length from the center of the eye to the middle of the spring. Tape measuring that is gonna be right at 11 1/2 inches. And the loaded arch height, in other words, the measurement from here to the center of the eye when it's loaded is gonna be about two inches. And the spring width itself is two inches.

But that should do it for the review on this Dexter 26 3/4 inch long four-leaf slipper spring with the hook end for a 2,500 pound trailer axle..
