Review of Draw-Tite Ball Mounts 3592

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 1-1/4" Hitch. It has a 2-3/4" drop, 2-1/8" rise, and a 2,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this ball mount will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. The shank portion of it is what'll slide into your vehicle's 1-1/4" hitch receiver, and the ball platform right here is what'll provide your mounting point for your hitch ball. The hitch balls we do sell separately on our website. Now, both the drop and the rise positions are available to ensure level towing, and this is a sturdy steel construction. Has a nice solid shank on it. A black powder coat finish covers an a-coat base for superior rust protection.

It does come with the included 1/2" diameter hitch pin and clip, so when you go to install this into your hitch receiver, you put your pin and clip through there, attach it. Now, if you do want a hitch lock, we do sell those separately on our website.A few specs on this. Again, the application, this fits 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" trailer hitch receivers, either Class I or Class II. The gross towing weight capacity is 2,000 pounds. Tongue weight capacity is 200 pounds. Now, we do want to give you some measurements.

The length as measured from the center of the ball hole to the center of the hitch pin hole, so if we go center to center, going to be right at 9-3/4". Now the other measurement, we're going to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the ball mount. You can see that's right at 6-1/2". Now the drop, again, this is measured from the top of the shank to the top of the ball platform, so the maximum drop is 2-3/4". If we flip it over, rise again, top of the shank to top of the ball platform, going to be right at 2-1/8".

Now, the ball hole diameter, so when you go to get your hitch ball, you want to make sure you have the right specs on the hitch ball that'll fit this. The ball hole diameter is going to be right at 3/4". The platform thickness is 5/8". The pin hole diameter, we mentioned, accepts a pin of 1/2" diameter. But that should do it for the review on the Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 1-1/4" Hitch. It has a 2-3/4" drop, 2-1/8" rise, and a 2,000 pound gross towing weight capacity..
