Review of Draw-Tite Ball Mounts 3594

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite SportFrame Drawbar. This is going to fit inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter, class one SportFrame receiver style hitches. The shank portion slides into the receiver tube of your hitch. And then the ball platform provides a mine point for a hitch ball. That way you can tow a trailer behind your vehicle. That hitch ball is sold separately. If you're in need of one, you can find them here at etrailer.com.

The hitch ball hole diameter on this mount is 3/4 of an inch. Taking a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball hole, that's going to give us a measurement, it's right on 10 inches. It's going to provide you with a four-inch rise, that's measured from the inside top edge of the receiver tube of your hitch, to the top of the ball platform. This is designed to be used in the rise position only. It's rated for up to 2,000 pounds of gross trailer weight and 200 pounds of tongue weight. The unit is made from a sold steel construction and it's going to feature a black pattern coated finish, to do a good job at resisting rust and corrosion. And it does come with a 1/2 inch diameter pin and a clip.

That way you can secure the unit inside the receiver tube of your hitch. That's going to do it for today's look at the Draw-Tite SportFrame Drawbar.
