Hi there, I'm Michael with Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Fastway replacement e2 Weight Distribution System Shank. This is going to slide right into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle. And then, we'll provide the attachment point for your weight distribution systems head. This is going to replace the shank that comes with all e2 systems, so you can trust it is going to do a great job of replacing that original for you. This will work with the Round Bar systems, as well as the Trunnion bar systems.

It does have a powder coded steel construction, so it is gonna be very sturdy for you. It's gonna resist rust and corrosion, and it is going to give you a max tongue weight capacity of 1,200 pounds and a max towing weight, or trailer weight capacity, of 12,000 pounds. You can see we do have the six adjustment holds here that are going to allow you to attach your head assembly in different positions to accommodate different trailer heights so you can make sure your trailer's gonna be nice and level as you go down the road. These holes are spaced an inch and a quarter apart, center on center. So, to measure the adjustment that we are going to have, we can measure it in the drop position like we have it here and in the rise position if we flip it over.

So, we're going to measure from the top inside edge of our receiver tube, which here is gonna be the top of our shank down to where your coupler is gonna sit. So, you can tell if your receiver tube sits higher than your coupler, it's gonna need a drop. If your coupler sits higher than your hitch, you're gonna need a rise. This is going to give us a max drop. If you're using a Round Bar system, you'll have a max drop of four inches.

If you're using a Trunnion Bar system, we'll give you a max drop of two and a quarter inches. And then if we flip it over, we can use it in the rise position. It's gonna give us a max rise of six and a half inches with your round bar system, and six and a quarter inches with your Trunnion Bar system. So, make sure that that's gonna work for your setup. We do have other options available here at that have larger drops and rises.

So, make sure that you're getting one that's gonna work for you. And to help you with that, we'll give you a few measurements here, so that you can see that this will work for your hitch. So, from the center of our standard 5/8 inch pinhole here to the center of our adjustment holes, we're looking at right at eight inches. From the center of our pinhole to the very front here, where your head assembly's gonna attach, we're looking at nine inches. From the center of our pinhole back to where this gusset starts, which is where your, the max of where your hitch receiver can go up to, it's right at four inches. Then, our overall length is 12 inches. So, make sure that that's gonna fit inside your hitch receiver. It should, it should should accommodate most all hitch receiver tubes. But, just to make sure that that's gonna work for you before you purchase it. Otherwise, I think this is gonna do a good job for you. Make sure that that rise and drop is gonna be sufficient. Like I said, we do have other options that give you other rise and drop settings for your more extreme. Like, if you have a really tall truck or something like that, or a really low trailer, or vice versa. This will do a good job in those other options.
