Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank 2 Inch - FA92-02-4213 Review

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Fastway e2 weight distribution shank. This shank is going to slide into your two inch hitch receiver and give you the attachment point for your weight distribution systems head assembly. It's designed for use with your Fastway e2 weight distribution systems, and this does have a maximum trailer weight capacity of 12,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 1200 pounds. As you can see, we have six adjustment holes for attaching your head assembly, letting you level your trailer with your tow vehicle.

Pulling out my ruler here just to give you some overall measurements. The overall height, we are sitting right at about nine and a half inches tall, and these holes are spaced, line that up here for you right at an inch and a quarter apart on center. Now the maximum drop and rise with a Trunion Bar System, the maximum drop is going to be about three and a quarter inches. And then when you flip this over you're gonna have a maximum rise with a Trunion Bar System of about seven and three quarters inches. Now if you have a round bar system this is going to give you a maximum drop of about five and a quarter inches.

And again, maximum rise, if you flip this over with a round bar system you're gonna get maximum rise of about seven and three quarters inches. Now just some other measurements for you to make sure that this shank is going to work from you measuring from the center of the hitchpin hole to the end of our shank. So let me line my ruler up here. We are sitting right at nine inches, and then keeping my ruler there from the center of the hitchpin hole to the center of our adjustment holes we are sitting right at eight inches. And then from the center of our hitchpin hole to where our gusset is, where that is welded there on the shank we are sitting right at about four inches there.

And then from the center of our hitch pin hole to the rear of the shank, we are sitting right at three inches. Now this is constructed of solid steel, so this is going to be very durable and it has really good welds along the gusset. So this is gonna be, this is built for maximum durability and this features a black powder coat that's going to help resist rust and corrosion. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
