Furrion RV TV - 4K RV LED TV - FR78FR Review

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And where do we taking a quick look at the Furrion led RV TV. Then this is a 4k HDTV specifically for your RV. Now, what's going to be the difference between this and any old TV that you can get anywhere out there that's a 4k. Well, this is designed for use with an RV because it's going to have a more rugged housing.

It's intended to be out in the elements as far as being inside your RV. So, it's probably going to encounter more extremes of temperature than a typical residential TV would, those are used to staying pretty much at room temperature all the time. Your RV is going to get hotter and colder, then that's normally going to be the case. So, it's going to be more rugged in that respect. It's also more suited for going over rougher terrain.Since we're going to be on the road, it's going to be encountering movement, a normal TV where it really wouldn't.

So, this is going to have all those features. Then it's not going to get damaged from being out in your RV through all those different conditions. So you're not going to have to worry about taking this in and out of your RV every time, because it's going to get damaged. Now, of course, if you're in really extreme temperatures, you might want to take it out. But for the most part, it's able to stay inside and not have any issues.

The other nice thing about this is that since it is a fury on TV, it's going to be compatible with all of their other accessories. And they're one of the big OEM providers for a lot of entertainment equipment. So you probably have seen some of their other stuff like stereos and speakers and other things. So this is going to be able to work with those. It comes with a universal remote, So you can control those things with this guide also, comes with the batteries for that, which is always nice to see. Other than that, it's an HDTV, it's a 4k.

So it's going to be a very nice top of the line model, but it's pretty much the same in every respect. If you want to see all those specs, we have them listed out on the product page here. It is a 50". So, that's, if we go from one corner, I can get my tape measure to cooperate to the opposite in a diagonal. And that's 50". So if we go side to side, just to give you an idea of how much space this guy is going to take up.It's about 44, okay. And 38" inches with the stand it's about right at 28" tall. So that just kind of gives you an idea of how much room you need to have for this. You really should put this on a table. That's going to be the width of the TV itself to make sure that it's on a nice stable platform. It does come with the legs to make it a nice base and the hardware to attach those that are made of metal. So, that's always something I like to see. As far as the attachments for any other kind of accessories you want to use with this, it does have three HDMI ports, which are all on the back here. And then we're also going to have an RF connection and a USB. And then all our RCA connections down at the bottom on the back. There's also the pattern for a VESA Mount, which is that universal Mount. So if you want to have a wall hanging or put this mounted up on a wall, you can use that. And it also comes with four bolts to match into that pattern. So a pretty nice setup overall, it gives you everything that you'd expect from a really high quality TV, but again, it's designed to be out on the road. If you want to see the more detailed specs, you can find those again, right here etrailer.com and a lot of other accessories from Furrion that should work with this as well as all kinds of accessories for your RVs in general. So I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right product for you. Again, I'm Ellen here etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
