Review of GCH Automotive Truck Bed Accessories 3460004

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the truck bed cargo camera, with the seven inch monitor. Now, this product fits certain years of the F-series trucks from Ford. To ensure that this is a fit for your year, make, and model, you can use the vehicle fit guide, which is located at etrailer.com.Now, this camera bezel, which is right here, this actually mounts directly behind your existing third brake light on your truck. The custom fit design ensures that it matches up perfectly with your vehicle and maintains your factory or OEM look. The camera is located right here at the bottom. Now, the actual camera, it can be adjusted to get the angle you need for your application, but basically what this system does is it allows you to monitor and see what's going on in the cargo area or bed of your pickup truck.

This is perfect if you have a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch. Really helps make it easier when connecting to your trailer. It comes with the camera, the bezel, and the seven inch monitor. Includes all necessary wiring to get it installed. It also has a nice monitor mount which is included, so you can mount that to the dash with adhesive backing, or it has some holes in it so if you want to drill it into place and screw it down, you can do that as well, but it does come with all your necessary wiring and the items that you need for the installation. Now, I have it hooked up, basically just to show you what it looks like on the display here, and the response time, or the response rate. Also, we can turn off our overhead lights, and you can see it in a low light setting, and you can see that even at night time or in low light, it still provides a really nice, clear signal for us.Again, it comes with the camera, seven inch monitor, the items that you need for the installation.

It also comes with a remote control, so you can easily control the system and navigate through the menu options. Manual controls are located directly on the bottom of the monitor, so you have your power button, you have video one, video two. You have different modes that you can select from. You have soft, vivid, light, and standard. Then you also have your volume controls and then your menu button.

A lot of different things that you can do with this unit.I did mention that it has audio and video input. It has two way video and two way audio input, with a reverse trigger function on one of the video inputs, so that would activate the camera, and it would do that every time you engage the reverse gear. Now when it comes to wiring and setting it up, it's pretty simple and straight forward. There's only a couple of hard wire connections that you need to make, such as your trigger wire if you want to use it, and your ground wires, and your power wires. Everything besides those wires, it's all plug and play.

Straightforward installation. Also, the monitor has this built in shade that goes around it. This is a like sun shade, and it helps reduce glare on the actual monitor. That's going to do it for today's look at the truck bed cargo camera with the seven inch monitor.
