Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this gen Y hitch mounted step. This is going to slide right into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. It's going to provide a quick, easy step so that you can climb up on it, getting your trucks, bed or your cargo area, or reach up on top of your roof rack. You can see this does have a serrated surface.

It's going to provide a nice strong grip help prevent any slipping. This is a durable steel construction. So it's going to give us a weight capacity of 400 pounds. So plenty for most people. And if you're putting something up on your roof you plus the weight of that, you should have no problems.

This will do a good job for you. You can see this does have a nice black powder coat finish on it to help resist rust and corrosion. This will just put, use your standard pin and clip that you probably already have for your hitch, slide right through there. If you don't already have a pin and clip, or you're wanting to make sure that this is a little bit more secure you can find pin and clips here or locking pins that will lock this in place to make sure that no one is able to take this off of your hitch receiver.
