HappiJac Camper Tie-Downs - Front and Rear Tie-Downs - LC184089 Review

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Happy Jack custom tie-downs for truck bed campers. This setup is going to equip your Toyota Tundra to haul a sliding camper. It's going to provide attachment points to secure all four corners of your camper to your truck, so you're not going to have as much movement of your camper. It's going to prevent any sort of side to side, front to back, or up and down movement, which is going to make it a much more enjoyable drive for you. And it's also going to help reduce any sort of jostling inside the camper itself. Now, this is a custom fit kit for your 2007 through 2010 Toyota Tundra.

I always recommend checking our vehicle fit guide to ensure that it is going to work with your package. This is a direct frame bracket system, so it's not going to mount to the bed of your truck. It's going to mount to the frame, which is going to give a much better hold. It's going to distribute the weight better to keep your setup from being too top heavy. It's just going to be superior overall.

It's just going to make it much smoother of a ride, and there's going to be a less jostling, again. The front anchors here are going to mount in between your cab and the truck bed. Again, mounting to the frame of your vehicle. The rear anchors here are going to install on the end of your truck's bumper to give you the third and fourth attachment points, to make sure everything's held down nice. This kit is going to include the two front anchor plates, as well as two support braces. It's also going to include two of the rear anchors.

The two bumper braces that we've got here, four of these steel bumper plates are going to help keep the anchors from causing any sort of damage to your bumper, as well as all the install hardware, and of course the instructions to get it all installed. This kit is made of a steel construction, so it's going to hold up very well. You're not going to have to worry about it breaking down or anything like that. It is made here in the USA, so you can trust that it's got high standards of quality. And it does come with a one-year warranty from Happy Jacks, so that should give you an extra little peace of mind knowing that they stand behind their products.Overall, I think this is going to be a great kit to get your Tundra equipped to haul your sliding camper. One thing that you will want to think about is how to attach your camper to these tie-downs.

Happy Jack does make several different kinds of turnbuckle kits that will hold them down. Connects between your camper and your tie-down brackets here. I would recommend checking into those. We carried those here at trailer.com as well. That's going to complete our look at the Happy Jack custom tie-downs for your truck bed camper..
