Review of Hidden Hitch Hitch Accessories 5443

Today we'll be reviewing part number 5443. This is the Hidden Hitch Front Mount Trailer Hitch License Plate Relocation Bracket. It is designed to fit a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. This is the portion here that slides into the receiver tube of your hitch. Made from a nice sturdy steel construction and has a glossy finish on it, so it is designed to stand up well against rusting and corrosion and it's steel all the way around, the mounts on the back as well as the face plate, it's all solid steel. We'll go over a few measurements here. It's going to have an overall width of right at 9 inches and an overall height of 5 1/2 inches. Here on the back side, we have 2 different pin hole locations. You do want to make sure that when you insert this inside your hitch, that you do have enough room from the center of one pin hole to the back of the face plate here, that way you can actually make sure you can line up your pin holes and insert a hitch pin and clip to secure the plate bracket to the vehicle. I'm measuring from the center of the first pin hole to the back of the plate. We have a measurement of 2 3/4 of an inch.

From the back of the plate to the center of the rear pin hole, we're going to have a measurement of 4 1/2 inches. How this would work is you'd take it, you just slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch and you can line it up to whatever pin hole is going to best suit you and you need to take a 5/8 inch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock to secure it in place and those are sold separately. You can refer to the product's product page under related items or you can go to our website and type in part number PC3 and it's going to refer you to a standard 5/8 inch pin that comes with a clip. You can kind of see how that mounts there. Really simple installation. It's also very solid. It does come with all the mounting hardware that you need to secure a license place to the front face plate. It does have 4 bolts, 4 washers and 5 nuts and I believe that they are rubber locking nuts. That's going to complete today's review of part number 5443. This is the Hidden Hitch Front Mount Trailer Hitch License Plate Relocation Bracket.
