InfiniteRule Ball Mounts - Hitch - 34061775-D Review

Today we're going to take a look at the InfiniteRule locking pins for the B&W Tow and Stow adjustable ball mounts for two inch and 2-1/2 inch hitches. And this is for a quantity of four pins. Now these are flush style locking pins that will replace the standard pins for your B&W Tow and Stow 10,000 pound, or 14,500 pound adjustable ball mounts. The short pin, right up here, this will secure the ball mount to your two inch or 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch. Two of the long pins will secure your ball platform to the ball mount, and any additional long pin will secure your ball to the ball mount platform. These are all made of a heavy-duty, rust-resistant, stainless steel construction. On the inside, when you unscrew the head, it'll have an O ring on it to help protect the internal components from any dirt and grime from getting on the inside.

And if you notice on the end they have these rubber weather resistant tethered dust covers that'll keep the water and debris out of the key way of the lock. Now these lock cores are all keyed alike. Does come with four keys. They are made in the USA. And just to show you how you take them or install them, you'll put a key in the one end. And then you just twist that key like you're unscrewing a boat.

And once you unscrew it enough, the head will pop off and you're able to install it now. Here you can see that little red O-ring, this is what we talked about earlier, when you put it together to help seal it and keep any dirt or grime from getting inside the lock.So then when you go to install this, you put this through your holes. Once it's all the way through, line it up to the head and then you just twist that key like you're tightening a bolt down. And once it gets tight, just snug it up, and then back it off a little bit. Take your key out.

Put your cap on, and it's locked all ready to go. All these will work the same way. Again, the application for this is the B&W Tow and Stow 10,000 pound and 14,500 pound adjustable ball mounts for the two inch and 1-1/2 inch hitches. All of these locking pins have a shear strength of 42,000 pounds and basically that shear strength is determined by, they place a locking pin in a stress position and they subject it to increasing force until required proof load is met, or the pin fails. And again each one of these locks has a shear strength of 42,000 pounds. Pin diameter them is 5/8 of an inch.

Measurements on them when to start with the short pin, overall length on it, one end to the other is right at 5-3/4 inches. And the span, which is this portion here, it's going to be right at 3-1/8 inches. And then on the three longer ones, overall on it, is going to be right at 6-3/4 inches. And then the span inside pin length will be right at 4-18 inches. And again, this is for a quantity of four pins, three long ones, one short one, and then the four keys. But that should do it for the review on the InfiniteRule. Locking pins for the B&W Tow and Stow adjustable ball mounts for two inch and 2-1/2 inch hitches.
