JR Products TPMS - RV - Trailer - 372FX4K Review

Today, we're going to take a look at the JR Products PressurePro FX 4, app based, four-wheel TPMS kit. Now this tire pressure monitoring system is for towables, like boat trailers, campers, pop-ups, and other trailer types. This is the PressurePro FX four-wheel kit provides 24-7 continuous tire monitoring performance, by delivering tire pressure and temperature readings from these waterproof sensors to your existing smartphone, using the free PressurePro app installed on your phone. That app is available for both Android and iOS devices. And just to show you what the app would look like, I happen to have my phone here and we're going to zoom in. And just to show you, there's the PressurePro app and then you can see there it's showing you four-wheel, six-wheel, eight-wheel, and then the positioning.

And then here, it shows you how it shows the pressure and the temperature of the tires. Here it is on just a two wheel application. It's a very handy app. And this app does offer unique alerts that'll give you low pressure to high pressure, high temperature, cross axle alerts. It will even give you a push notifications and an FX warning light, the alert notification when it's out of app, or without a smart device. This kit has the ability to monitor up to about 40 different tires, and you can easily switch between multiple trailers using the app.

Now, this is a four-wheel kit. It is also available on a two-wheel kit. It's called the FX 2 sensor kit and that's part number 372 FX2K. We do sell that separately on our website. Now the sensors, these are sealed waterproof sensor units that allow full submersion in lakes or rivers. There's no batteries required to run this.

This is perfect for boat trailer applications. The pressure range on a sensor is eight PSI, up to 215 PSI. PressurePro will provide pressure readings and units of either PSI, bar, or KPA, which is kilopascal. And the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. This kit will include everything shown here on the table. Starts with the pulse FX device.

This is your main box here. It has a connection here and one here. Even comes with some hook and loop mounting pads to install it. Then you'll have your pulse fixed-in power cable, to supply the 12 volt power to run this. You can see this part would plug in right down here, and then this of course will go into your 12-volt power outlet. Over here is your pulse dipole antenna. This would connect on the windshield of your vehicle, and then you run this connection right over to this side of the device. And again, it'll give you four dynamic standard sensors. This is a very easy installation, very simple to use. The sensors themselves are easy to install. They'll just thread onto your valve stems. I happened to pull a valve stem here. Took the cap off and just to show you, all you have to do is thread those on just like you would your valve cap. And once you tighten it enough, it'll connect and then you can use your app to get all your connections synced up.Also that app, when you're on it, we'll let you walk through a very easy installation and operation of all these parts. These parts are built in the USA. Last thing I want to do is just give you some measurements on the box itself. It's going to be two and five sixteenths, by two and five sixteenths by about three quarters of an inch tall. And the sensor, they're one inch diameter, with a height of about one and one eighth inches tall, but that should do it for the review on the JR Products PressurePro FX 4, app based, four-wheel TPMS kit..
