Review of Jensen Accessories and Parts MAF50

Today we're going to be taking a look at a wall mounting bracket for 13 inch to 27 inch flat panel LCD TVs. This wall mounting bracket features a dual swing arm design and it easily mounts your TV to a wall. You will have tilt, swivel, and pan capabilities. It's going to feature a zero to 20 degree tilt and 180 degree pan and swivel. On the plate that mounts to your wall, it does feature an integrative bubble level. That's going to ensure that the unit is installed straight and it's going to feature a cord management channel, that gives a routing point for your cords.

One the TV mount plate, that's this right here, it's going to feature the 75 millimeter and 100 millimeter universal mounting pattern that's what the two hole design is. One set is 75 millimeter pattern, the other set's 100 millimeter pattern. It is VESA compliant. On the plate that mounts to the wall, at the top it features a retaining clip and on this unit right here, there's a set screw. The retaining clip and the set screw ensures that the TV mount is secured to the wall mount. All the necessary mounting hardware is included.

You're going to get three large screws for the three mount holes. They're long enough, so that way they can go through a standard wall into a stud. You're also going to get concrete anchors. You're going to get the necessary tools that you need. You're going to get Allen tools.

You're going to get spacers. You're going to get a drill bit and you're going to get a Phillips head driver. It also comes with two different sets of hardware. One for the 75 millimeter mounting pattern and one for the 100 millimeter mounting pattern. Taking a look at some of the dimensions real quick. This would be what's known as the fully compressed or stowed position.

In this position, measuring edge to edge furthest out point to furthest out point, it's going to be about nine inches going that direction. Here on the wall mount plate, it's going to give us an overall length measurement of around six and 3/8 of an inch and then a width measurement, the widest point about two and 3/8 of an inch. The mount holes on this unit are separated on center by one and 3/4 of an inch apart. Between these two, one and 3/4, between these two about one and 3/4. The unit features a maximum load capacity of 40 pounds. When you have this mounted, the TV mount slides into the wall mount. You can extend your arms out however you need to. Really gives you endless possibilities with how you need to extend it out. You got a thumb screw here, a thumb screw, and a thumb screw here. That's going to give you the flexibility that you need with this mounting system. When it's all the way extended like this, it's going to stick out about 16 inches away from the wall. When it's fully compressed or retracted like this, it's going to stick out about two and a quarter inches from the mounting surface. That's going to do it for today's look at the wall mounting bracket for a 13 inch to 27 inch flat panel LCD TV.
