Jensen RV TV - LED TV - JEN44FR Review

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Jensen RV TV. This is an LED television for your RV. And the reason why this is a good choice over something that you can just pick up anywhere for any kind of home viewing, is because an RV TV is made to be on the road. It's made to withstand those tracks and vibrations that you typically have any time you're driving. The road just causes vibration.

There's a lot of movement there. You can hit potholes. It needs to be a little bit more hardy and a little more rugged to be inside your RV. That's what this is designed for. It has a nice, hard plastic outer shell, that's going to keep our outer portion safe and secure.

And it also does have a conformal coated circuit board, that helps to protect all those inner workings from any kind of damage while you're going down the road.If you we're to put just a regular TV in your RV, there's a good chance that it would maybe not work right, even right off the bat, or over time it's going to fail pretty quickly. Those inner . internal components are just not meant to be jostled around. That's why you'd want to get one of these guys that's made specifically to be on the road. Other than that, it's going to be a pretty standard HDTV.

It is an LED screen. It does have several inputs for different accessories. If you want to have a DVD player or a Blu-ray player or anything like that, gaming console, it has three HDMI ports at the back. It does also allow you to connect to a PC or a computer. If you want to use this as a computer screen or computer display, that works as well.

There's also VGA inputs and AB inputs as well. You can use it for all kinds of different stuff. See the cord at the back measures a pretty good distance away so you can plug this in on the wall. There's also screws on the back here for . to mount it at a wall . a wall-mounted design. It doesn't have any kind of wall mount attachment with it, but that should be a pretty standardized connection back there to get this mounted up in place. It does come with the remote and batteries to control the TV from across the room. Pretty standard. As far as the size of the screen, I'll get my tape measure. But the screen itself, typically you measure in a diagonal and for this one it's 40 inches. Pretty good size. You can definitely see what's going on across the room. The actual outer dimensions or edges here, measures about 36 inches . about 35 and three quarters. And then top to bottom, just a little over 20 inches, about 20 and three eighths. And then front to back, it's kind of hard to measure, but, it's roughly, three and a half inches deep. And it looks like you've got about four or five feet of plug cord here or through your AC plugin, so should be again, a good amount . enough amount of cord to get that plugged in where you need it to be. These maximum resolution for the screen is 1366 by seven or 768. Should be a pretty nice, high definition screen for your computer if that's how you want to use it. But all in all, it should be a nice addition to your RV and it will be sure to stand up to all those road impacts and shocks you might encounter when you're out driving. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right screen for you. Again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
