LaSalle Bristol RV Sewer - Waste Valves - 34466N4AB96GMA Review

Today we're gonna take a look at the LaSalle Bristol RV waste valve. This is going to have a three inch diameter. It's going to fit spigot to hub, and has a 96 inch cable. Now this is going to replace your RV's black water tank valve. It's going to have that three inch diameter passage to allow any waste water to travel freely through, when the valve is open. The hub is going to slide onto the sewer pipe, so that means the larger end is gonna go over that sewer pipe, and the spigot, or smaller end slides into the sewer pipe. It's going to have that 96 inch cable, and it's made of a flexible steel. So, that gonna allow to mount this, pretty much wherever you want it, whether that's somewhere out of the way, or in a secure location, somewhere where it's not gonna accidentally get pulled. Now I have this, sort of looped around itself, just so that you can actually see it all within the frame there, but you would not wanna have this looped whenever you install it. The instructions say that they want you to have this installed in, sort of a U-bend, with a nice gentle curve, or maybe a gentle S-curve, or in sort of a right angle. But again, you'd wanna avoid any harsh angles, or any really direct kinks, or really distinct kinks in the cable.

You wanna keep it a nice easy bend in that cable to make sure that it operates properly. And the handle should be set, pretty much, straight going into it.So, again, just for demonstration purposes, I do have it looped, just so you can see it all at once, but if I pull that cable, it's going to open and close that valve. It is a little hard initially as you saw there to get that to open, but it does have a non-stick coating to help the valve seal open and close a little bit easier. And once you do that a couple of times, it's a lot easier. We do have our easy to grip handle, with the black color, to indicate that it is for our black water tank.Again, our diameter is going to be three inches on the inside for the spigot side, the outer diameter is going to be three and a half inches. So you can see there.

On the other side, or the hub side, it's going to be three and a half inches on the inside diameter, and then four inches for the outside diameter. This is NSF approved. You will also need to pick up some ABS solvent, which is sold separately, to install this properly. You can find that here at etrailer.com, using part number A05-0303. I would also suggest maybe picking up some loom clamps, to go over your cable to secure it in place. You don't wanna have this just flapping around, you'll need to have it tied off to a few places underneath your RV.This product is also made in the U.S.A.

And that's gonna do it for our look at the LaSalle Bristol RV waste valve.
