Lippert Camper Jacks - Stabilizer Jack - LC285326 Review

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Lippert scissor stabilizer jacks with the handle. These have a 24-inch lift and a 10,000 pound total weight capacity. It is for quantity of both jacks. Now, if you're looking for a nice, safe, durable, and dependable option for stabilizing your trailer, these scissor jacks are a nice safe bet.

As we mentioned, they have a nice 10,000 pound combined capacity to help stabilize your fifth wheel trailer, your travel trailer, horse trailer, or even your cargo trailer. Now the mounting pattern, right up here at the top of the jacks that mount to your trailer, the overall dimensions of each jack are industry standard, which means that they should easily bolt onto your trailer in place of your original jacks. It is an easy bolt-on installation. It even includes the mounting hardware to install it. On the very bottom of these jacks, if you notice, they do a bow tie design on the base here.

This will help keep the jack steady even on any soft surfaces. Now they are nice heavy gauge steel construction, ensures durability and strength. You can see they have a nice black powder coat finish on them that provides protection from any rust and corrosion. And it does include this crank handle for raising and lowering of the jack, and basically all you have to do is put it on the end, put the socket on the jack there, and you can see as you crank this clockwise, you can see how it easily raises and it goes pretty quick too. And then to lower it, the same way, just counterclockwise rotation, and you can see it will lower pretty fast.

Has a nice gearing on it, makes it very easy to crank. Now on this type of jack, you do not want to use an impact or a power drill to crank the jack. It will void the warranty. We recommend only to use this manual crank handle that it comes with. Few specs on this.

This one's in the totally, fully collapsed position so the height of this from the ground to where the mounting surface is is gonna be right at four and 1/4 inches. This does have a total lift of 24 inches, so if we fully extended this out and did the same measurement it would be 28 and 1/4 inches. Now the collapsed length, basically from one end to the other end, we use our tape measure, and you can see that's gonna be right at 26 and 1/4 inches for the total collapsed length. The mounting base, this portion here that mounts to your trailer, width on that is about three and 1/4 inches. Total length is right about 10 and 1/4 inches. We did mention the load capacity. It is 10,000 pounds total, which means 5,000 pounds per jack. It is for a quantity of two jacks. One note I do wanna mention is this jack set is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight. It is not designed to support the full Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of your trailer so you do not want to use these jacks to lift your trailer or your RV. Doing so will exceed the capacity of the jacks. But that should do it for the review on the Lippert scissor stabilizer jacks with the handle, 24-inch lift, and a 10,000 pound total weight capacity..
