Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slide-On Mirror - LO54FR Review

Today we're going to take a look at the long view driver's and passenger side slip on custom towing mirrors. Now these are a custom fit part. They are designed to fit a 2019 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 2,500 and 3,500 trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle and it'll show you if these mirrors will fit your application. Now these are towing mirrors that'll slip over your factory side view mirrors, helps extend your line of sight, gives you a better view of the road and your trailer, and it'll let you safely and easily change lanes, pass and park. The mirror itself uses a first surface chrome plating on the mirror face, helps minimize distortion, helps reduce glare.

They are manually adjustable. So in other words, you use your hands to adjust them. This will let you customize your view. The nice aerodynamic shape of them help prevent vibration and wind noise. As we mentioned, they're a custom designs, so they'll provide a perfect secure fit on your vehicle.

These add on mirrors will not obstruct your factory mirrors, which will go right in here. It will not interfere with any of the adjustments to the factory mirrors. You can see it even has the cutouts for everything on your factory mirrors.Installing this is very quick tool free installation. All you have to do is slide this towing mirror over your factory mirror. Take the hook arm and includes the two hook arms and the two knobs.

Take your hook arm and the hook portion. You've hooked this around the inside edge of your factory mirror. Then the other end, which is the threaded rod here, that just goes through the hole right here. With that hooked around your factory mirror, you just take the knob and you go ahead and screw it onto that threaded end, and you just keep threading it. I want to turn it around here.So with this stepped onto your factory mirror, this will go right in the spot there.

You just keep threading it and it tightens it down and it pulls up against the factory mirror. So to hold these up against your factory mirror, secure them. Also, if you notice, they have these foam pads that are attached in here, that's so when it pulls up against your factory mirror, your factory mirror finish won't get scratched or anything. It protects it, and that'll hold it tightly into place. Now these mirrors are nice, durable ABS plastic housing. These do include both the driver's and passenger side mirrors. They're all included. These parts are made in the USA. Let's go ahead and take this apart back off, but that should do it for the review on the long view driver's and passenger side slip on custom towing mirrors.

We do offer replacement hardware for the Longview Towing Mirrors. For the # LO54FR mirror, you would want to use the part # LO53FR to source new plastic screw nuts and clips. We do not sell these pieces individually. These mirrors do have a 1-year limited warranty, so if you think it may be a warranty claim you could pursue that.
