Review of Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring 154-792-118158

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster six diode universal wiring kit for towed vehicles with separate lighting. This system connects your RV's tail brake and turn signal lights to your towed vehicle's lighting system. It is designed for use on towed vehicles that have a three wire system, which is a separate brake and turn signal system. It prevents electrical feedback and the damage it can cause to your towed car's electrical components. It comes with the tail light converter to adapt your RV's two wire system to work with the towed vehicle's three wire system. And it contains everything you need to wire your car for flat towing.

So you get the six high powered diodes, tail light converter, 30 foot long strand of four wire electrical cord with the plugs attached on each end. And then you get a six foot long cord with the four way flat connector, one on each end, one for the vehicle and one for the RV, so that allows you to connect that span between the RV and the towed vehicle. You have this hardware bag right here, which comes with a ring terminal and some cable ties. And then you also get your wiring connectors, and you get three feet of split wire loom, covers the wires for a really nice look, and it keeps wires protected. The maximum amperage is 85 amps. Maximum voltage is 24 volts.

Now please note, if your RV has separate brake and turn signal lights, you do not need to install the included tail light converter. However, you will need to replace the four way vehicle side connector with one that is compatible with carrying the separate signals. That's going to do it for today's look at the Roadmaster six diode universal wiring kit for towed vehicles with separate lighting.
