Today we're going to take a look at the RoadMaster diode seven-wire to six-wire flexo coil wiring kit. Now, this will let your wire your vehicle to accept your RV's tail, brake and turn signal lights for flat towing. This will wire the tow car as a combined system so that your brake and turn signals will travel along the same wire. It will also prevent electrical feedback in the damage it can cause to your vehicle's electrical components. The diodes right here use a powder-coated aluminum case, which is corrosion resistant. They provide protection from the elements. Now, if this kit is used with supplemental braking system, it may require a brake light relay, part number RM-88400.
We do sell that separately on our website. The flexo coil cord right here is resistant to water, oil, chemicals, has silicone-injected plugs to help prevent corrosion. The center pin on the six-way plug, it can be wired two different ways. This one happens to be wired as a 12-volt power center pin. It includes everything shown here on the table. Includes the four high-power diodes, the 30-foot long, four-wire harness, all the wire connectors you'll need and cable ties, a nice three-foot long plastic loom to put around the wiring.
This cord right here is an eight-foot coiled cord, and it comes with a vehicle socket, the six-pin socket right here and the mounting bracket for that. All these parts are made in the USA and also covered with a nice set of detailed instructions on how to install everything. A few specs on this kit: The diode max. amperage is 85 amps. The diode max. voltage is 24 volts, and we mentioned the coil cord length is eight-foot, and when it's totally extended out, it's 15 foot.
One last note on this kit. For applications that'll have separate lighting, this kit will cause your brake lights to function as both brake and turn signal lights, so you would need to get a wiring converter, which is part number 118158, and two additional diodes, which are part number RM792. Those will be needed if you want to retain separate turn and brake signals. That should do it for the review on the RoadMaster diode seven-wire to six-wire flexo coil wiring kit.

The video says, The center pin on the six-way plug, it can be wired two different ways. This one happens to be wired as a 12-volt power center pin. I just bought this kit. How do I know which way my cord is wired?
