Stromberg Carlson Camper Jacks - 5 Base Pad Peak For Scissor And Stabilizer Jack - SC38MR Review

Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad Peak for Scissor and Stabilizer Jacks. And we are taking a look at a set of five of them today. These base pads are going to replace the bricks and blocks normally needed when positioning your trailer jack. They work as jack stands to provide a platform that supports the weight of your scissor jacks, stabilizer jacks and even your tongue jack to improve the stability of your port and leveled RV.

They have a individual weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. And as you can see, they do have a nice long landing pad for the foot of your jack. Let me go ahead and give you a measurement here of that landing pad to show you just how big that is. So the length there, we're sitting right at nine and a quarter inches long by five and a quarter inches wide. These are gonna save you time because they're going to minimize the amount of cranking that you're gonna need to position your jack.

Individually you're gonna have eight inches. So it's gonna save you eight inches of cranking when you use one of these. And they're also going to offer you more stability. It's gonna be able to help you keep the arms of your jack closer to your RV for more stability, so they won't be overextended. On soft surfaces like hot asphalt or sand, they can be used with a one inch or two inch thick jack pad.

And they're also sold separately, but you can find them on this product page, under related products to see which jack pads will work with these. Now I also note you've no doubt noticed these do have finger holes on the side, and they're going to make the pad easy to carry and to retrieve from under your RV or restored from your RV. And they're constructed from durable, lightweight, high strength plastic. They are made in the USA and they are designed to be stacked. I'm gonna stack, I'm gonna show you that in just a second.

As you can see there is a cutout at the bottom there, at the base. And so these can be stacked. But I just wanted to show you that by itself, these are eight inches tall. And then as you can see on the sides here, I have two others, two here and two here that are stacked. This is for a quantity of five of these base pads. And so they're really easy to stack. You just set one on top of the other and you are good to go. And the overall height that you will gain from having two of these stacked is gonna be right at 14 inches. So 14 inches you will have, when you have two of these stacked on top of one another. Now, let me give you some other measurements here. Let me give you an idea of the kind of footprint, how big the footprint is on this. We are sitting right at 12 and eight inches long by about 10 and a quarter inches wide. So again, the individual weights of these pads are gonna be 3,500 pounds and they do have a two year limited warranty. And again, this is for a set of five. We do have various quantities available on our website. For instance, if you just need one of these, you can find just one on our website, item number SC86MR. Or if you just need two of these, you can find two of these on our website, item number SC26MR. Or if you just need four of these and you don't need as many as five as we have here, you can get a quantity of four of these, item number SC58MR. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today at a set of five of the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad Peaks for Scissor and Stabilizer Jacks. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
