Stromberg Carlson Camper Jacks - Base Pad Peak For Scissor And Stabilizer Jack - SC86MR Review

Hi, everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad Peak for scissor and stabilizer jacks. Now this base pad will replace the bricks and the blocks normally needed when positioning your trailer jack. It works as a jack stand to give you a platform that supports the weight of your scissor jacks, stabilizer jacks, and even your tongue jack to improve the stability of your parked and leveled RV. Now this has a weight capacity of 3,500 pounds.

And as you can see, it has a nice long landing pad for the foot of your jack. While we're here, let me give you some measurements on that landing pad. The length, we're sitting right at about nine and a quarter inches long. And in regards to the width, we are sitting right at five and a quarter inches wide on that. So again, that's gonna be a nice long surface for the foot of your jack, and using this is it's going to be a time-saver for you.

It's gonna minimize the amount of cranking needed to position your jack. It's gonna save you about eight inches of cranking, but it's also gonna offer you more stability. It's going to keep the arms of your jack closer to your RV so they won't be overextended. And on soft surfaces, like hot asphalt or sand, this can be used with one inch or two inch thick jack pads. Those are sold separately, and you can find those on the related products section of this product page.

And as you probably noticed, this does have finger holes on the sides and that's gonna make this pad easy to carry and retrieve from under your RV, and retrieve from storage in your RV. And this is constructed from a durable, lightweight, high strength plastic. Now this is made in the USA, and they are designed to be stacked. As you can see from the bottom there it's cutout, so you can put another one inside to stack it. And I'm gonna show you that in just a second.

I do wanna give you a measurement of just how tall this is. I did say you would gain about eight inches when using this pad. So as you can see, this is eight inches tall. And when you stack this, then I do have another one here. You're gonna get about 14 inches stacked. So again, you see just how easy it is to stack and it is designed for that. And so that's gonna be very convenient when you get more than one of these to use the other ones to stack and gain that extra height that you need. Now let me go ahead and give you the measurements here of the base. Kind of give you an idea of what kind of footprint it's going to have. So we're looking at about 12 and seven eighths inches long by about 10 and a quarter inches wide. And again, the individual weight capacity of this is 3,500 pounds. And you have a two year limited warranty on this pad. And again, with this, you will only get one, but we do sell these in different quantities. So if you would like to buy two of these, you can find them on our website. Item number SC26MR, and that will give you a quantity of two. If you would like to get a quantity of four, you can find them on our website, item number SC58MR. And then finally, you can get these in a quantity of five. You can find that on our website, item number SC38MR. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today of the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad Peak for scissor and stabilizer jacks. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
