Stromberg Carlson Two Camper Jack - Trailer Jack 7 Pads - SC28VR Review

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Stromberg-Carlson Base Pad Extreme camper and trailer pads. These pads are seven inches tall, so they are going to give you a great option for stabilizing your parked and leveled RV or they can be used as a jack stand to support your trailer's tongue weight during storage. These are going to be a great option to replace your traditional cinder block or a wood block to help minimize the amount of cranking that you need to do on your jacks to get your RV or trailer leveled. These are going to be much lighter than your cinder blocks.

I can lift it up, really with just a finger and thumb there. So very easy to lift. They also have these panel finger holes so that you can lift it up and carry it very easy. So a great alternative to a cinder block. Plus, these are made of a lightweight polycarbonate, which is like bulletproof glass.

So they're going to be very strong and they're not going to retain water like your woodblocks would, so you don't have to worry about them getting moldy or anything like that. So they are going to be a great option, still giving you that seven inches of lift, but without some of the difficulties that come with those other options. So these do support, they have a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds each. These can be stacked one to the other. So our height is obviously going to increase from seven inches to about 12 1/4 inch tall but our weight capacity is going to decrease from 6,000 pounds to 3,500 pounds.

So just something to be mindful of there, you can get a little bit more height but the weight capacity goes down. There are several different options for the number of pads that come here. We can buy them individually using the part number that you see on the screen there, or a set of two, set of four, or a set of six. We have all those here at etrailer.com. You can find them using the part numbers that you see on the screen there.

These can also be used with one inch or two inch thick base pads that will help to make sure that these will be nice and supported on soft surfaces like asphalt or sand, hot asphalt or sand. Those are sold separately, but they will help to make sure that the rigid polycarbonate it is not going to slip or anything in those loose, soil conditions. As far as our dimensions go, these are right at about 10 inches wide here at the top. At the bottom, from our solid edge to solid edge, it's right about 12 inches. But if you go from the corners here it's about 12 3/4 inch. So that's gonna be your max width at the bottom. So to make sure that that's going to work for your storage containers and that sort of thing. And then of course they are right at seven inches about 7 1/8 of an inch tall. These are made here in the USA. So you can trust they're made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the U.S. So I think you'll be very happy with these as an alternative like I said to those cinder blocks and woodblocks, just being much lighter, weight, less moisture-retaining. They'll do a good job for you and hold all that weight so that your RV can be stable while you're parked. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
