Stromberg Carlson Wheel Chocks - Wheel Chock - SC76MR Review

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we'll take a look at the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad RV Levelers with the chocks and the mats, and they have a 30,000 pound weight capacity. It is for a quantity of two levelers. Now these levelers will help the RV stay flat when it's parked on uneven terrain, you can drive up onto the wedges to balance out your motor home, and it does include everything shown here on the table. It will include the two levelers, the two chocks and the two rubber anti-slip mats.

Now it is a very easy installation. What you'll do is you'll take your mat right here and slide this up under on the ground in front of the tire and align it with the tire and then try to get it as close to the contact with the tire as possible. And then once you do that, go ahead and place your leveler wedge right here on the mat with the tapered edge portion right here under the front of the tire and then push it up against your tire just like that. And then when you pull your RV forward onto this leveler wedge, until it's level, just like that. Once it gets leveled out like that, then what you'll do is go out, grab your chock, slide that chock up under the leveler wedge and that's designed to secure the coach and prevent any rocking.

And then basically when you're ready to get back on the road, you'll remove it. Just remove this chock from under the wedge. And then what you'll do is pull your RV forward until it drops off the wedge. Now one thing I do wanna mention, if you do have any tandem axle, you don't wanna pull too far too far forward as that rear tire may engage the chock. So what you'll do is once it falls off, then all you have to do is go back, retrieve your parts, and you're ready to be on your way.

Now one thing I do wanna mention, if you do have that tandem axle, we recommend to level and chock both wheels. Now the mat itself is an anti-slip rubber mat. It's designed to keep the leveler and the chock in place. The wheel chock, as I showed you, is what will support this leveler. And what's nice is this leveler has curved edges.

Let's zoom in just to show you what we're talking about. If you look at the front and the back, it has a curved design to it. And that's to allow for easy removal from underneath the tires. And it is a nice compact size of about 11 inches. And that's allows you to fit it between your tires and allows easy storage when you're not in use. The width of it is seven inches wide, so it is designed to fit most all widths of tires. And if you notice the construction of it is a cross brace design, it's very sturdy and long lasting. Does have a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds per leveler, so each one. These parts are made in the USA. Few specs on it, they do, they will lift up about four inches, total. The dimension again is 11 inches long, seven inches wide, and total height is about four and a quarter inches tall. But that should do it for the review on the Stromberg Carlson Base Pad RV Levelers with the chocks, the mat, and a 30,000 pound weight capacity..
