Review of SuperSprings Vehicle Suspension SSR-312-54

Today we're going to take a look at the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for the rear axle. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2015 and newer Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks and the 2015 and newer Ram 3500 cabin chassis vehicles. On a custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it will show you if this will work for your application. These helper springs will upgrade your vehicle's rear suspension for improved driver control and comfort, they'll help keep your vehicle level when you're towing or hauling a heavy load. They'll also help to absorb any bumps and shocks and help minimize sway. They are a progressive load control, basically means the springs will compress according to the weight of the cargo on them. If it's a lighter load on the spring, it will compress easily at first for nice soft engagement and a less bumpy ride. If there's a heavier load on them, it will compress by as much as 80% to give you that extra support.

These springs will work independently from each other to compensate for off-center loads and reduce body roll during any sharp turns. They are made of a durable high density microcellular urethane. This is designed to work in temperatures from a negative 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The material will resist damage that can be caused by oils, road salts and UV rays. It does give you minimal lateral expansion. Basically they'll compress vertically instead of to the sides so they aren't easily damaged when operating in any tight spaces.

They are maintenance free. There's no tubing to run or air pressure to monitor like on air springs. It is a simple no drill installation. This part includes everything shown here, the two jounce-style springs, a nice tube of Loctite to use on the bolts when you install them and a set of detailed instructions. This part is made in the USA. The spec on this the weight capacity at 50% compression is 2,800 pounds.

One last note is the SumoSprings will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity. That should do it for the review on the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for the rear axle.
