TST TPMS Sensor - Tire Inflation and Repair - TST-507-R Review

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the signal booster repeater for the TST tire pressure monitoring systems. Now this signal booster will strengthen the signal of your tire sensors, and it helps eliminate any electronic interference with your TST TPMS system. If you mount this on a trailer, you can mount it in the battery box in front of the propane bottles. If it's on a fifth wheel, you can install it in the house battery bay, underneath the overhang, but you do want to make sure you want to place it below the bank of mirrors so that it doesn't bounce the signal back and cause the system to malfunction. And on any coach with tow vehicles, you can install it in the back battery bay and the power draw on it is so minimal that you can leave the booster installed without running the battery down.Right here in the middle, this is a light.

It'll light up red and that'll indicate that the unit is connected to power and operating correctly. Now this signal booster will improve the performance of your TST tire pressure monitoring system. It is designed to work with the systems TST-507-RV-4C, TST-507-RV-6C, seat TST-507FT-4C, and the TST507-FT-6C. This will strengthen the signal helps eliminate electronic interference. That'll also replace a lost or damaged signal booster. It is a very easy installation comes with the included hardware.

It has two screws that you can mount it down with. It has a couple of hook and loop fasteners to attach it with. it has a nice set of instructions on how to install it. You can mount this inside or outside your vehicle and then just connect it to a 12 volt power source. It is a waterproof construction, so will prevent damage from rain or wet roads.

A few specs on this, the width on it from one end to the other where the mounting tabs stick out, going to right at three inches. The height from the bottom to the top of the antenna right about two and a half inches tall. And the depth of it is only right about five eighths of an inch deep. Now the length of the wire on this is 57 inches. If you notice it does include this inline fuse, it's a two amp fuse to protect it.

But that should do it for the review on the signal booster repeater for the TST tire pressure monitoring systems..
