TireMinder TPMS - RV,Trailer - TM-A1A-4 Review

Today we're taking a look at the TireMinder RV tire pressure monitoring system. Now this system allows for constant monitoring of a vehicle or trailer's tire pressure and temperature. It can receive wireless information from up to 22 tires, zero to 232 psi. It comes with four transmitters, but you can always add more. It makes it great for multiple tire layouts such as a camper, a truck and camper, a truck and fifth-wheel, RV and towed vehicle, a truck and trailer, or a single coach. It comes with a hard-wired booster, and then on the monitor, we have the extendable antenna, so that's going to increase our wireless range. Right here on the booster, we have the built-in antennas.

It features the simple power and ground wires that have the alligator clips, so those can be connected to any power source that provides a constant 12 or 24-volt power feed. Now the booster not only provides greater signal distance, but it helps eliminate signal interference. This unit, again it comes with four transmitters and it comes with the necessary batteries, so if we open up the pouch here, I just have the batteries all tucked away. It comes with multiple batteries, all that you need for this kit. The transmitters simply screw onto the valve stems of each tire. Each transmitter features a weather-resistant design.

The monitor, which is right here, has a nice large display on it. It's rechargeable. It displays psi and temperature for each tire. It has a battery indicator that allows you to know when it needs to be recharged, and it comes with the power cable and it comes with your versatile charger so you have it so you can charge it from your vehicle, and then you also have it to where it can be charged using a wall outlet. The monitor also offers visual and audible high-low pressure alarms. You can customize the monitor to your needs so you can raise or lower the baseline pressure for each tire.

This allows you to teach the monitor what pressures you run in your set-up or in your rig. It notifies you of many different alerts, such as rapid air loss or blowout, semi-rapid air loss, normal pressure loss, high temperature warning, high pressure alert, and so on. It also features single action memory delete which allows you to delete information if and when needed. It features front and rear disconnect and reconnect modes, as well as an auto-search mode. Now, it comes with everything that you see here on the table, so you get four transmitters. You get your signal booster.

It comes with an adjustable magnetic mounting bracket so that way you can mount your monitor and you can pivot it to get the angle you need for your particular set-up. That way, you can always have a clear view of the screen and of the monitor. It comes with the components to get that installed and to attach the monitor to the bracket, and that is a pivot bracket, so again, you can adjust it as needed. It comes with your charger set-up. It comes with anti-theft locking nuts. It also comes with a locking wrench with a valve core tool. It comes with additional O-rings, which are for these right here. Now, to install the batteries, all you've got to do is remove the cap and then you can install the battery as needed. The O-ring is at the bottom of that threaded portion which creates a really nice tight seal. It keeps dirt and moisture away from the battery. Again, batteries are included, and it comes with a carryall pouch. That's going to do it for today's look at the TireMinder RV tire pressure monitoring system.
