TireMinder TPMS Sensor - 4 Tire Pressure Monitor Kit - TM89FR Review

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this TireMinder i10 tire pressure monitoring system. This is going to allow you to monitor your, your RV's tire pressure and temperature. This will work with your motorhome, 5th wheel, motor coach or trailer. You are gonna get these four brass waterproof and dustproof sensors.

These will secure onto your tire's valve stem. This will work with aluminum, rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. This will check your tire's pressure and temperature every six seconds. So, you're getting a nice, regular update on the condition of your tires. These will feature a pressure range of 0 psi up to 199 psi with an accuracy of plus or minus 1%.

The operating temperature range is -4 degrees Fahrenheit up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. So, it's gonna give you a very precise indication of the pressure and temperature of each individual tire. You're also going to get these four lock nuts, four O-rings, and eight batteries, as well as the wrench to get them installed. The batteries are a three volt DC battery, so they are gonna do a good job of making sure that you're getting full strength from your sensors there. It lasts about nine to 14 months.

And then those sensors are going to send the signal up to your 5 1/4 inch color LCD monitor. That's gonna provide you with visual and audible alerts for up to 10 tires at once. So, if you wanted to add on any sensors in the future, you could add those on separately, and your monitor will be able to support up to 10 at one time. This will mount onto your windshield with the suction cup there. Now, a lot of people have found that the windshield is too far away for them to see.

So, you can very easily just put some Velcro or something like that on the back there and stick it down by your left knee where you'll be able to see it. Either way, it's gonna give you a nice visual indication of how your tires are doing. You also get those audible alerts if there's an issue with the tire pressure, tire temperature, if your sensor, or monitors, batteries, or if your sensor signals are having issues, those all will appear here. Now, this does also have the 12 volt micro USB charger here. So, you can plug this in to your 12 volt auxiliary port. Very easily get that hooked up. You can see up at the top corner here, we are kind of low on our battery right now, but all you'd have to do is plug that in and you would be ready to go. This is also going to allow you to set the tire pressure and temperature settings. So, you can kind of customize those to the range that you want it to monitor. You can also store pressure and temperature information for up to four vehicles or 40 tires. So, if you're gonna be switching rigs and setups, you can use the same unit and just have more of those sensors attached to different vehicles and it will store all that information in there. You're also going to get this Rhino repeater that's gonna extend the signal between the sensors and the monitor. It's gonna install on the exterior of your RV or trailer. They do include zip ties here to get that mounted in place. This does feature dual antennas that are going to help cut through signal interference coming from other wireless electronic devices, like in the vehicles surrounding you as you're going down the road, so that you're always gonna have a nice, clear signal coming into your monitor. This is gonna be right about 2 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/4 of an inch tall, and about 3/4 of an inch thick. So, if you're considering where you're gonna mount this, keep that in mind. This does have a three foot long wire with the alligator clamps there on the end to help you easily get this wired. This black is gonna be your ground and then the red is gonna be your power. Very easily connect this to your 12 volt or 24 volt DC system. So, that's gonna complete our look for today. And if you are looking for a four monitor set to keep an eye on your tires as you're going down the road, this is gonna be a great kit for you. We also have a six sensor set and a 10 sensor set. So, if you're wanting to have, have more tires monitored as you're going down the road, I would recommend some of those other sets. You can always add more sensors onto this, but if you're wanting to start out with a higher number, those would be the way to go. So, that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
