TireMinder TPMS Sensor - RV - Trailer - TM38FR Review

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the TireMinder i10 TPMS monitoring system with the signal booster, the four flow through tire sensors for your RV or trailers. Now, this TPMS system will let you monitor your RV's tire pressure and temperature with this included monitor. And it is designed to work with your motorhome, your 5th wheel, or your trailer. Want to just zoom in and show you everything that's included.

Gonna start with the i10 monitor right here. The adjustable suction cup mounting bracket that you can attach to your dash or to your windshield. Your monitor attaches to that. Comes with the Rhino signal booster right here. Comes with the DC adapter with the micro USB cable for charging.

We mentioned the four flow through transmitters with the four locking nuts with the locking wrench. Comes with eight lithium batteries and replacement O-rings. When you go to change the batteries, you put in a new O-ring. And a nice instruction manual to describe how this all installs and how it operates. Now, this uses this nice, easy to use LCD monitor, provides you with a visual and audible alerts for up to 10 tires at once.

It'll warn you of changes with tire pressure, tire temperature, sensor and monitor batteries, and the sensor signal. It does enable you to set the tire pressure and temperature settings, and it'll let you monitor up to 20 sensors. Now, this kit comes with four sensors. We do sell additional sensors separately on our website. And this can store pressure and temperature information for up to four vehicles or 40 tires.

To turn it on, there's a button here that you just push. And you can see when you push it on, it'll give you your different settings. And then you have up and down arrows that'll, you can put it to whatever you need to set on the monitor. To turn it off, you can just hold this down for about 10 seconds. And after about 10 seconds, you'll see that it does shut off. Overall dimension on this, now, we're not gonna include the antenna, but you're gonna be looking at about 3 1/2 inches wide. It's only about 7/8 of an inch deep. And about 2 3/4 inches tall. The dimension on the screen going diagonally is about 3 1/4 inches. Now, the next part we're gonna talk about is this Rhino booster repeater. And what this does, this will strengthen the sensor signal. And it uses the 433 megahertz transmitters, which will eliminate electronic interference with other wireless devices. This booster is fully weatherproof. It installs on the undercarriage of the RV or trailer. And you can see the wire and the connections, it connects to 12 volt or 24 volt DC power. You can see the wire length they include is about three feet. It has the red and black alligator clips on the end. Just to give you the dimension on this, now this one, we will include the antennas. But I'm gonna measure including the mounting brackets right there, so about 2 1/2 inches wide. And including the antennas about 4 1/4 inches tall. And the depth on this at the widest point, it's about 7/8 of an inch. Now, the USB charger right here, this will plug into your vehicle's 12 volt accessory outlet. And it comes with this micro charging cable that'll plug in and then plug in to charge your monitor. The four flow through sensors are right here. These will let you monitor each tire individually. These will check the tire pressure and temperature every six seconds. The pressure range on these is zero to 232 PSI. And these are the flow through design, so meaning, you attach this to your valve stem. You can still take off the valve cap at the top here to adjust your pressure to either raise it or lower it. So, you don't have to take off your sensor every time to adjust your pressure. These are a flow through design. This allows the tires also to be inflated or deflated without removing the sensors. The sensors do install easily onto your tire's valves stem. And they lock in place using the included locknuts and the wrench to tighten it down. These are a brass construction. They are designed for use on rubber, steel, chrome or nickel valve stems. And they're very lightweight. They only weigh about .7 ounces, so they eliminate the need to have to rebalance your tires. These are upgraded sensors. They do provide accurate reading within one PSI. And just to show you where the battery goes, if you just unscrew this large cap here, your battery will slip right up in there. And as we mentioned, it does come with extra batteries and extra O-rings. When you do go to replace it, you do have an O-ring on here that'll help seal it. You do wanna replace the O-rings also. So, I'll go ahead and put the cap back on. But that should do it for the review on this TireMinder i10 TPMS monitoring system with the signal booster and the four flow through tire sensors for your RV or trailer..
