TireMinder TPMS Sensor - RV - Trailer - TM98FR Review

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this TireMinder i10 TPMS Monitoring System with the signal booster and the six flow through tire sensors for your RV or trailer. Now, this TPMS system will let you monitor your RV's tire pressure and temperature using this included monitor. It is designed to work with your motorhome, your 5th wheel, or even your trailer. Wanna zoom in and show you the parts that are included, we'll start with the monitor. Includes this nice i10 monitor, includes the adjustable suction cup mounting bracket.

Once you attach your monitor to it, then you have a suction cup here that you can attach to your dash or your windshield. You can see it is adjustable this way, this way, so it's fully adjustable. Also comes with the Rhino Signal Booster right here, comes with the DC adapter with the micro USB cable, we mentioned the six flow through transmitters with the six locking nuts and the locking wrench to lock it onto your valve stem, comes with the 12 lithium batteries, six replacement O-rings that you'll replace when you replace the batteries, and a nice instruction manual that'll describe how all this operates and how it all goes together. Now, we'll start with the monitor, it's a very easy to use LCD monitor, provide you with a nice visual and audible alerts for up to 10 tires at once. And so, just by pushing that middle button, it'll turn it on, and then you make all your adjustments.

This will warn you of any changes of the tire pressure, the tire temperature, sensor and monitor batteries, and a sensor signal. Enables you to set the tire pressure and temperature settings, let you monitor up to 20 sensors. Now, it does come with six in this kit, but you can buy additional sensors separately on our website, and it can store pressure and temperature information for up to four vehicles or about 40 tires. Overall dimensions on this monitor, it's gonna be about 3 1/2 inches wide, about 2 3/4 inches tall, and the depth of it is about 7/8 of an inch deep. The screen dimension, corner to corner, is about 3 1/4 inches.

Now, the Rhino Booster right here, which is a repeater, this will strengthen your sensor signal, and it uses the 433 megahertz transmitters, which eliminates electronic interference with other wireless devices. This is fully weatherproof, it installs on the undercarriage of your RV or your trailer, it will connect to 12 volt or 24 volt DC power. Overall dimensions on this, if we do the width, including the mounting is about 2 1/2 inches, the depth again is only about 7/8 inches, and the height to the top of the antennas is about 4 1/4 inches tall. Now, you notice it does have the wire with the alligator clips on it, that's about three feet length wire. Now, the USB charger right here, this will plug into your vehicle's 12 volt accessory outlet, and you can see, it comes with the micro USB charging cable.

And in the sensors, it does come with the six flow through sensors, and that'll let you monitor each tire individually. You can check the tire pressure and the temperature every six seconds. The pressure range is from 0 psi up to 232 psi, and what's nice is this is the flow through design, this allows your tires to be inflated or deflated without removing the sensors. The older design wasn't a flow through and you had to remove the sensor to check the air pressure, put air in, or take air out, this one, once you install it and lock it into place, all you have to do is take off the cap and you can check your air pressure. The sensor installs easily onto your tires' valve stems, and it locks in place using the included lock nuts and the wrench to tighten it down. These are a nice brass construction, they are designed for use on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems, and what's nice about these, they are lightweight at only about 0.7 ounces, so it eliminates the need to have to rebalance your tires. And these are upgraded sensors, they provide accurate reading within 1 psi. And again, when you go to replace, they do give you extra batteries. So it's pretty simple to replace the batteries, you just unscrew the cap right here, and then you put your battery right in there, take the old one out, put the new one in. And again, there's an O-ring that surrounds the threaded portion here, they give you new O-rings to put on them also. Again, you just tighten it back down. But that should do it for the review on this TireMinder i10 TPMS Monitoring System with the signal booster and the six flow through tire sensors for your RV or trailer..
