Review of Titan Chain Lashing Winch TCLR430-1-33

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a winch strap for truck and trailer winches. This heavy duty winch strap feeds into a tie down winch on your flatbed truck or trailer to help you secure a heavy loads. It is for use with a fixed or sliding winch. Winches are sold separately. The wide flats of design lets you anchor the strap to rails, edges or other similar tie down points. The flat hook is made from durable steel and features a powder coated finish to resist rust and corrosion. Now the strap is made from a durable, polyester webbing.

Very strong, very durable, excuse me, we have nice, heavy duty stitching on the unit. It meets WSTDA recommendations. The strap itself measures four inches wide by 30 feet long. It's available in two colors at etrailer.com The blue one which is what I'm showing you right here and it's also available in a red. You can view that option at etrailer.com but the straps are the same.

The only thing different is the color.Safe working load limit is 5,500 pounds. The hook has an overall width measurement of three and three quarters of an inch wide and then the opening right here at the widest point is about one and three sixteenths an inch and a quarter. Now please keep in mind that tie down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used. That's gonna do it for today's look at the winch strap for truck and trailer winches.
