Review of TorkLift Wiring TLW6048

Today we're gonna be taking a look at the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension. This extends your truck's 7-way RV-style trailer connector back to clear your bed-mounted camper. One end of the wiring harness plugs into your existing 7-way. It's got the nice finger tabs on there for an easy grip design when it comes to connecting and disconnecting, and then the other end of the harness has a 7-way port for connecting to your trailer wiring. It's a nice spring-loaded design, so when nothing's plugged in, that lid will remain closed, keeping out dirt, grime, and moisture from the connection points. You'll notice that that bracket on there has pre-drilled mount holes for an easier installation. Now this unit does work great with the 48 inch long TorkLift Super Trust Hitch Extender. The mounting bracket for your 7-way plug is included with the Super Trust Extension.

But this harness could also work for applications where you simply just need an extension. A mounting bracket for other applications is sold separately. If you need a mounting bracket for the 7-way, you can find them at The unit features a water resistant design to reduce corrosion. It installs quickly and easily. Again, you don't have to worry about cutting or splicing any wires.

It's simply a plug and go installation. This harness itself measures around 57 inches long, and the product's made in the U.S.A. It's got the nice, thick wire casing on there to protect the wires, keep everything safe and working for a long time. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Torklift Wiring Harness Extension.
