Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring - Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring - 20110 Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Draw-Tite 7-foot long Fifth Wheel Gooseneck Wiring Harness with the seven-way connector. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1997 and newer Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks; also the 1999 and newer Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500 trucks; also the 2009 and newer Dodge Ram and Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 trucks; and it also fits the 2004 to 2014 Nissan Titan trucks and the 2010 to 2016 Toyota Tundra trucks. Now, it will fit all those vehicles, as long as they have the factory seven-way tow package. And because it fits so many different vehicles, I do recommend for you to go to our website and use the fit guide. Put in your year model, vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this will provide this nice seven-way blade style connector in your truck bed for a nice hassle-free hookup of your fifth wheel and gooseneck trailers. The connector right here is what'll mount in your truck bed, sidewall, tailgate post, or wheel well and it will easily allow you to plug in the seven-way from your fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer to this connector, instead of having to try to make your connection all the way down by the rear bumper where the factory seven-way is.Now, when you do install this harness, it will retain that factory seven-way connector at the rear of the truck.

Basically, this will plug into the factory wiring. There's no cutting or splicing. It's a seven- foot-long insulated wiring harness that'll reach from the rear bumper all the way up to the truck bed and plug into this connector. The wires, you can see, are all inside a nice loom that'll help protect the wires from any damage, and as I mentioned, it will require that the truck has a seven-way factory tow package. It is custom fit for your vehicle, does include everything shown here. It includes the harness itself, the seven-way connector, the self-tapping screws to install your connectors, and cable ties take up any slack in the wiring, and a nice set of detailed instructions.

Basically, what you'll want to do is when you go to install this, you want to go ahead and install this into your truck bed, up close to the gooseneck, and then you'll take this plug-in right here and you'll just plug that in all the way. You push it in and that'll make your connection and then you'll run this wired loom or harness all the way down to where your factory seven-way and you'll go behind the seven-way that's on your bumper and you'll pull off the factory harness that's on your seven-way, plug your harness into this longer connector right here, and then plug this back into the factory seven-way that's at your rear bumper. Once those are all connected, you're all ready to go and you'll have an extra connection point right up in your truck bed for your fifth wheel or gooseneck. But that should do it for the review on the Draw-Tite 7-foot long Fifth Wheel Gooseneck Wiring Harness with the seven-way connector.
