Today we're going to take a look at the 3-leaf double-eye spring for 2,000-pound trailer axles. This is made of a strong durable steel construction. It is designed to flex to absorb any road shock and provide a nice smooth ride, which will help reduce wear and tear on your trailer. It ensures a nice level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. It is designed to mount to your trailer frame with hangers or a hanger kit. We do sell those separately on our website, and they are also listed on this product page as a related product.
If you notice, it does include the nylon bushings and the eyes. A few specs on this. The capacity on this spring is 1,000 pounds. When this is mated with one on the side, it'll meet the axle size of 2,000 pounds. The leafs, again, is three; one, two, three. Going to give you a few measurements on this.
The spring length, which is measured from the center of this eye directly across to the center of that eye, center to center, and you can see is going to be right at 20 3/8 inches. The spring width, overall width on the spring, is going to be right at 1 3/4 inches. The diameter on the spring eyes are 9/16 of an inch. Again, this is for a quantity of one spring. One note I do want to mention is to ensure proper axle alignment on your trailer and great suspension performance, leaf springs should always be replaced in pairs.
