etrailer 2 Leaf Slipper Spring - e36SR Review

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this etrailer two-leaf slipper spring with the radius end for 1,000 pound trailer axles. Now, this leaf spring will act as part of your trailer's suspension system. This will provide the attachment points for your trailer's axle. This has multiple leaves, which allow flexibility to absorb road shock.

So, this will allow for a nice, smooth ride, help reduce wear and tear on your trailer, and ensures a level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. It is a sturdy steel construction. Has the nylon bushing right here on the eye end. And you can see on this side, it has the radius end. Now, pre-mounted hangers or aftermarket hanger kits are required for installation of this spring.

We do sell those separately on our website. And they're usually listed on this product page as a related product. Basically, the eye of the spring right here attaches to the hanger and mounts on your trailer frame. And then the slipper end right here is what'll slide into your hanger or equalizer. This is for a quantity of one leaf spring.

It has two leaves. Spring capacity on this is 500 pounds. It fits axles that are 1,000 pound rated axle. Couple lengths on this, or a couple measurements on this is gonna be the overall length and then the spring width. So, the overall length will be measured from the end to the center of the eye.

So, that's gonna be 24 5/8 inches. The spring width is 1 3/4 inches. The eye diameter right here is 9/16 of an inch. And one note on this spring to ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, leaf springs should always be replaced in pairs and we recommend installation by a professional. But that should do it for the review on the etrailer two-leaf slipper spring with the radius end for 1,000 pound trailer axles..
