How to Install the CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler we'll be taking a look at the Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. Now we've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer just to give you an idea of the visibility that we have. In our factory mirror we're going to be able to see to the back of our trailer but if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror. We're going to have that dual view, so if I step out just a little bit further, again we have that extra space to see on the side. This is going to be really helpful when off-roading with our Jeep. With our towing mirror installed, it is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. Our towing mirror is going to install on our factory mirror using the four tabs and the two straps at the back.

Those two straps are going to be made out of a rubber material to prevent any scratches or abrasions. They're going to give us a nice secure fit. With our dual-view mirror installed, we can still fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. The dual-view mirror comes in a quantity of one but can be used for the driver or passenger side. You'll just to need to pick another one up with the same part number. They're quick and easy to install.

We'll show you how to do that now. To begin our install we'll place our tabs around our mirror housing. We'll take our straps around the back of our mirror and secure them at the top. The straps go around the back to the tab here at the top. We're able to tighten up our straps, adjust our mirror, and we're ready to hit the road. That's going to be our completed look at the Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953, on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler..
