How to Install the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam w/ EZ-Lube Spindles - 3,500 lbs

Today in our tandem axle trailer, we're going to be installing the new Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles, 89" long, with a 3,500-pound capacity, part number T3584F-EZ-8974. When just removing the axle, we're going to cut the old neo 00:00:24 bolt off as they will not be reused. Each process we do here at one side, will get repeated identically on the opposite side. Both assemblies removed, we can pull axle out of our trailer and prepare to install the the new axle. We're now ready to put our axle in place. Here is the manufacturer's tag, and the tag will go to the rear of the trailer. Then ply up the spring seat on the axle with the nib that sticks out of the top of the Leaf Spring pack. Once you have them lined up, we'll us the new U-bolt kit to secure it. Our plate will go on the bottom, U-bolt coming down over top of the axle, on both inside and outside of the Leaf Spring pack.

We'll install our fasteners, finger tight it first, and then we'll snug them down and torque to specifications as indicated in the instructions. That will complete the install of our new Dexter Trailer Axle with EZ-Lube Spindles, part number T3584F-EZ-8974. .
