Review of the Husky Liners WeatherBeater Custom Floor Liners on a 2020 Jeep Cherokee

Clayton: Hey everyone. Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we'll be taking a look at the Husky liners WeatherBeater floor mats on our 2020 Jeep Cherokee. This kit is going to include the driver, passenger, and rear sections. Our floor mats are going to be made out of a rubberized thermoplastic. So, that's going to hold up well over time in any conditions you might put your floor mat through. We are going to have these nice raised sides with raised channels and footpads here in the middle.

And what that's going to do is that's going to keep all that dirt and debris on our floor mat. And then these raised sections will keep that dirt and debris underneath our feet. And we'll still be able to get grip on these channels. Our floor mats are custom fit for our vehicle, so they are going to hug the footwell of our Jeep very nicely. And one thing I really do like about these floor mats is how high they go up behind our brake and our gas pedal. This is going to protect even more carpet and we do get some protection on our dead pedal.

Our mats are going to do a very good job of staying in place. And this is because they hook into our factory lockdowns for our mats. And we have stay-put nibs on the bottom. And what these stay-put nibs do is they grab the carpet and that'll keep that mat from sliding around when we're getting in and out of our Jeep.Over on our passenger side, I'll go ahead and show you how to get them installed. You do want to bend the mat to make it a little bit easier to work with.

These mats are kind of hard, which is good because they're not going to move around. Our passenger side mat is going to have all the same features, our raised sides, nice channels, goes really high up into our footwell, ties into our factory lockdowns and has those stay-put nibs. Now moving onto the second row, I can show you how to get these installed. The thing is, is they get crammed in a box when they're shipped to you, so if they're not fitting quite right, you can set them out in the sun and soften them up. So, we'll go ahead. Put our mat in.

Going to reach in. I want to do the same thing where we bend the mat and work it into place. Again, these are a harder mat. So, getting them in is tough but it's nice because they're not going to move around on us.Our rear section is going to have those same features as the driver's side. We have the nice raised sides, raised channels in the middle, and the stay-put nibs on the bottom to keep it in place. One thing I really do like about the second row is this channel cover here in the middle. And that's just going to keep all of our carpet protected, whether we're getting in and out, or if our dogs in the backseat running around. When it's time to clean the mats you can simply pull them out, hose them down, wash them a sip of water if you'd like. Dry them off and stick them right back in. With our mats installed, we're ready to hit the road. That's going to do it for a look at the Husky liners WeatherBeater floor mats on our 2020 Jeep Cherokee..
