How to Install the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source universal dual lens towing mirrors, part number KS3990. When comparing these to other universal towing mirrors out there, the strap ratcheting mechanism gives you a little more control and security on the back of your mirror.As you can see here, I'm next to the trailer, and I can be clearly seen in our factory mirror. When I take a step out to the left, I'm no longer visible in the factory mirror, but I can still be seen in our trailer towing mirrors. This is especially useful when merging lanes on the highway or during parking maneuvers in a parking lot, where you're trying to get that extra look at the back corner of your trailer.This universal mirror is going to be one of the most versatile out there. It has two separate mirrors, which are different types. You've got a larger flat mirror, which can be adjusted, and you have a smaller convex mirror, which can give you a wider range of view.

Each one is independently adjustable, and you still maintain full adjustability on your factory mirror.Additionally, the straps on the back are extra convenient because of the ratcheting mechanism, making it easier to ensure the security of your mirror without having to worry about causing any scratches or abrasions on it because of the large rubber pad. As you can see, you'll still have full adjustability of your factory mirror. With the mirror attached, it can still go into the breakaway position. You don't have to worry about it coming into contact with your vehicle.To install your mirrors, simply place the hooks over the top and bottom edge, then bring your strap around to the bottom and hook it. You can use the ratcheting mechanism to tighten it down.

After you've got it ratcheted down, just fold your clamps back, locking it in place, and you're ready to hook up your trailer and hit the road. I'll repeat that same process on the other side.
