How to Install the K-Source Snap and Zap Driver and Passenger Towing Mirrors on a 2020 Ram 1500

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we have a 2020 Ram 1500, and we're going to be taking a look at the snap and zap K-Source custom fit towing mirrors. So if you have a Ram 1500, these are going to be the best mirrors, in my opinion, they fit really, really well, and they really look good too. As you can tell, we do have a somewhat similar finish to them. So it kind of blends in, kind of looks somewhat OEM. I kind of like that and it also, we're not going to lose the function of our turn signals. So we have a little clear lens here and on the side.

So, you don't have to worry about blocking your turn signals. We are going to get one flat mirror on the outside, and it's going to be able to pivot up and down right and left, so you're going to be able to adjust it just as much, if not more, than your mirror that comes with your Ram.On both sides, we are going to add about four inches to our existing mirror. So for those really narrow situations that you're in, just be mindful of that. If we really need to fold these mirrors in, we can, and it's not going to hit our trim or glass or anything like that. The closest part to hitting would be this bottom clip here, but it's not even close.

So you don't have to worry about not being able to do that. So whenever you park in a parking lot or whatever you may be, fold these in just in case someone might clip them. Not only is this going to help you see the longer loads you may be hauling. It's also going to eliminate a lot of those blind spots that the OEM ears aren't going to show you. That's going to keep you safe, your equipment safe, and everybody else around you. First thing you want to do is take the nice little pouch and grab the correct mirror for the driver's side, and one way you can tell that is the lower clip here.

We're going to have a couple of holes here, and it's going to line up better with our lights on our mirror. So, what I found to be easiest, we're just going to start with the top and then work our way down and pull it until it snaps into place, and that is all you need to do. It is ready to go.Just to give you my final thoughts about the mirrors. I love them. I think they look really good and they give you a very, very clear and wide view for wherever you may be hauling.

It does come in a pack of two with a nice little carrying case. So you can just put these in your case, put them underneath the back seat or something like that. They're not going to take up a whole lot of room at all, but if you're really looking to get a towing mirror and these are going to fit your truck. I would definitely recommend getting these. They're super simple and easy, and they look good too. Well everyone, that just about does it for a look at the snap and zap K-Source towing mirrors on our 2020 Ram 1500.
