How to Install the K Source Clip-on Towing Mirror on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler


Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler, we'll be taking a look the K Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. We've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer just to give you an idea of how much visibility we have in our factory mirror. If I step out to the side here, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to be very helpful whenever we're off-roading with our Jeep. Our mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. Our four tabs on the front and our two straps on the back are going to help to secure our towing mirror to our factory mirror.

The two straps in the back are going to have a rubber coating to prevent new scratches or abrasions. There are also going ratchet straps to give us a nice, secure fit. With our towing mirror installed, we can still fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. The K Source mirror for either the driver or passenger side. You can pick up an additional one with the same part number. They're quick and easy to install.

We'll show you how to do that now. To begin our install, we're going to place our tabs around our housing and we'll come around to the back and secure our straps. We'll take our straps up to the top and secure them to the tab, then we can start to tighten our straps down, and make sure to ratchet them so that we get a nice, secure fit. We can close up our cover. Now, we're ready to adjust our mirror and hit the road.
