How to Install the K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror on a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at K-Source's universal towing mirror. This is going to allow you to see those longer loads that your factory mirrors may not be able to show you. Not only is this going to allow you to see those longer loads behind your vehicle, but it's also going to widen your view behind your truck, which is going to give you more peace of mind when you're going down the road. So this is going to have one additional mirror that you're going to add, and it does have a swivel, so you can rotate it 360 degrees and also tilt side to side and up and down. It also is going to be able to fit a lot of different type of mirrors.

You have three different pivot points, two right here, and actually four. So two right here as well.And it's going to also do a good job of protecting your factory mirror from any scratches. It has a durable, high quality rubber that is going to be strapped with a nice type of kind of a cam buckle strap. You can actually ratchet it down to get that nice snug fit. And there is also a nice rubber boot right here, which is going to help promote protecting your factory mirror.

This is actually going to allow you to still be able to tilt in your mirrors with no contact whatsoever, which is definitely a good idea. It's going to cut down on that vehicle width. So this does come in a kit of one or a pair of two, and that is on etrailer.com. It's a very simple install. I'm going to show you how to do that right now.All you got to do is basically to slide this over your mirror.

You want these little hooks on the inside to hit underneath and over top of your actual mirror. So once you line that up properly, pivot those arms. Once it's in there, then you can go ahead and ratchet it down. All you got to do is take this little lever here and start cranking it down. Make sure it's nice and tight.
