How to Install the Longview Driver and Passenger Side Custom Towing Mirrors on a 2019 Chevrolet Sil

Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today, we have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. We're going to test fit the Longview custom-fit towing mirrors. These are made to fit the housing of our '19 Silverado side mirrors. This is just going to give us some more visibility while we're towing our big campers or any other trailer we might have. Because we don't have any factory towing mirrors, this is a nice option to make sure they don't have any blind spots when we're wanting to change lanes or even when we want to back up.As you can see, it just slides right over our side mirror of our Silverado.

They even thought about it, they wanted to make sure you didn't lose any functionality of your side mirror. So, on the bottom side, we can see they have a cutout right here for our camera and our light right here to make sure we can still use those. And we're going to have a cutout on the back so when we want to turn, if when we want to use our left blinker, then that's still going to be visible as well. It's got a really durable plastic housing. It's going to be around for the long haul. It's just a really nice tool to have for a Silverado.

And it's something that when you're not towing, if you don't want that extended length, you can just take it off and stow it in the back seat of your truck when you're not using it.We're also not going to lose the ability to fold in our side mirrors if we're trying to fit in a tight parking spot. They're going to come in a quantity of two, one for your driver side, one for your passenger side. And they're very easy to install. Let's go and show you that right now. When installing, I like to always put in that clip first and we'll just lightly thread it on. No need to tighten it up yet, but once it's on, we'll just slide it onto our mirror.

We'll bring that clip around, get it onto the housing. And on the other side, tighten down that knob. No need to over-tighten, just get it pretty snug. And that's it. Just repeat this process for the other side.Well, thank you all for watching, but that's going to do it for our test fit of the Longview custom-fit towing mirrors on our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500..
